1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how FrameOrbit collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the FrameOrbit app, this website, and related support services.

FrameOrbit is the product name of a service operated by MENG YUAN as an individual developer. In this Privacy Policy, “FrameOrbit,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator unless the context requires otherwise.

FrameOrbit is an AI creative product for mobile. Its features may include image-to-video creation, video extension, image editing, motion-based workflows, and continuation from prior results. Because these features rely on uploaded media, prompts, cloud processing, and in-app billing, certain information needs to be processed for the service to work.

FrameOrbit does not require users to create a named account, and we do not ask for profile information such as your name, phone number, contacts, or address to use the core creative features. The app uses an internal device-bound service identifier so requests, credits, purchases, and results can be routed correctly without creating a public profile, username, or password-based account.

We wrote this Privacy Policy to support App Store launch requirements and to explain our data practices in plain language. It applies to information processed by us directly and, where relevant, by service providers we use to operate the product.

This page is intended to describe our current launch-phase practices. As FrameOrbit evolves, we may update product flows, service providers, and supporting notices, and we will update this page when those changes materially affect how information is handled.

2. Information We Collect

We keep data collection limited to what is necessary to provide the app. Depending on how you use FrameOrbit, we may process the following categories of information:

2.1 Device-bound service identifiers

We may create an internal service identifier for your app installation, device-bound service state, or service session. This identifier helps us restore purchases, maintain credits, prevent request mix-ups, and return the right results to the right app instance. It is not a public profile, username, or password-based login account.

2.2 Support and feedback information

If you contact us for support, submit feedback in the app, or send a privacy request, we may collect your email address and the information you choose to include.

2.3 Purchase, subscription, and transaction information

If you purchase subscriptions or credit products through Apple, we may receive transaction-related records, product identifiers, and subscription or entitlement status needed to unlock access, restore purchases, and maintain the correct credit state.

2.4 Uploaded media, prompts, and creative inputs

If you upload images or video clips, or enter prompts and related creative instructions, we process that content only to provide the requested FrameOrbit feature. Uploaded video clips may include audio tracks, which are processed only when needed for the selected AI workflow.

2.5 Generated outputs and history

We may temporarily store generated outputs and related task records so the app can show your results, support continuation flows, and let you revisit recent work.

2.6 Usage and diagnostic information

We may process app version details, operating system details, request identifiers, task status information, and failure diagnostics to operate the product, debug issues, improve reliability, and respond to support cases. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

2.7 App permissions and local device access

Depending on the features you use, FrameOrbit may ask for permission to access your photo library or selected media so you can choose source assets, and may request permission to save exported results back to your photo library. These permissions are controlled by Apple's platform settings and can be managed on your device.

2.8 Face and biometric data

Uploaded photos or videos may contain faces or other personal features. FrameOrbit processes that media only as user-provided creative input for the requested AI workflow. We do not use uploaded media to identify a person, verify identity, create a biometric template, or build a face-recognition database.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • provide the app, website, upload flow, and AI creation features;
  • process generation, editing, extension, and continuation requests, including through AI service providers acting for FrameOrbit;
  • maintain purchases, subscriptions, and credits;
  • temporarily store and present your recent results and history;
  • monitor service health, prevent abuse, and investigate failures;
  • respond to support, feedback, privacy, and deletion requests;
  • improve product quality, performance, and reliability.

4. AI Processing and Service Providers

FrameOrbit uses cloud services and third-party service providers to process media, generate outputs, store assets, and operate the product. Prompts, uploaded photos or videos, audio contained in uploaded videos, generated outputs, and related processing details are transmitted only as needed to complete the AI processing, storage, billing, support, security, or reliability purpose requested by you.

These providers process content on our behalf so the selected feature can work. We do not sell your uploaded media, generated outputs, prompts, or service records, and we do not share them with third parties for independent advertising, resale, marketing, profiling, or independent model-training use. We do not make user content available to unrelated third parties as a standalone data product.

You should only upload or submit content that you are authorized to use and authorized to process through FrameOrbit and its service providers.

4.1 Categories of providers

Depending on the request, these providers may include cloud hosting and storage vendors, billing and subscription infrastructure, and AI or media-processing providers used to transform inputs into outputs.

4.2 International processing

Because some providers may operate infrastructure in different jurisdictions, information submitted through FrameOrbit may be processed or stored outside your country or region. When this happens, we rely on service-provider relationships and operational controls intended to support lawful processing.

5. Service Provider Processing and Legal Disclosures

We do not share user data with unrelated third parties for their own commercial purposes. We may make information available to service providers that help us operate FrameOrbit, including providers that support Apple purchase verification, subscription infrastructure, cloud hosting, object storage, and AI or media processing. They receive only the information reasonably needed to perform those services for FrameOrbit.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, or protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, the service, or the public.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. If our practices change in a way that requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will update this policy.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain device-bound service state, operate subscriptions and credits, resolve support requests, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and preserve system integrity.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data involved. For example:

  • task and diagnostic data may be retained for service reliability and support operations;
  • purchase and subscription records may be retained for billing and compliance reasons;
  • uploaded media and generated outputs are configured for automatic deletion after 7 days through object storage lifecycle cleanup rules;
  • feedback submissions and support emails may be retained to track and resolve prior requests.

Users may request deletion of uploaded content, generated outputs, or associated internal service records by contacting frameorbit@icloud.com. We may need to retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.

If you submit a deletion request, we may ask for enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant device-bound service identifier, purchase, gallery, or support record. Some deletion outcomes may be limited by Apple purchase records, tax or accounting obligations, fraud-prevention needs, or other legal duties.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection to certain processing.

You may also revoke consent for optional processing where applicable by changing iOS photo-library permissions, discontinuing use of particular features, or contacting us directly. Deletion or revocation may limit some FrameOrbit functionality.

If you want to request deletion of uploaded content, gallery records, feedback submissions, or related internal service records, contact us using the email listed below and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant service record.

When contacting us, it helps to include your approximate request date, purchase context if relevant, the support email you used, your device or app version if you are reporting a problem, and a short description of the content or records you want us to locate.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

FrameOrbit is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use the service without parental permission. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post the updated version on this website and revise the “Last updated” date above.
